February 19, 2013: The Board of Directors and Staff of the Spanish Trail Playhouse would like to thank the community for the support shown to this organization in 2012 during the 5th Season of theatrical events. Through your support the Spanish Trail Playhouse has been able to continue its mission of providing quality live entertainment to Washington County and the surrounding communities.

Spanish Trail Playhouse to Hold Annual Meeting
January 29, 2013: The Spanish Trail Playhouse, Washington County’s only all-volunteer community theatre, will hold its Annual Meeting on Monday, February 4, 2013 at the Spanish Trail Playhouse located at 680 2nd Street in Chipley Florida.

Spanish Trail Playhouse Announces Cast For The Mousetrap
January 9, 2013: The Spanish Trail Playhouse is currently in full rehearsals for their spring production The Mousetrap. Following two successful evenings of auditions, Director Rosalyn Scott selected the cast. 

Open Auditions for Agatha Christie's "The Mousetrap"
December 26, 2012: The Spanish Trail Playhouse will hold open auditions for the Agatha Christie’s Melodrama, The Mousetrap on January 7 & 8, 2013. The auditions will be held at 6pm nightly at The Spanish Trail Playhouse (Historic Chipley High School) located at 680 Second Street in Chipley.

The Cemetery Club to take the stage at Spanish Trail Playhouse
October 17, 2012: The Cemetery Club, the final production of Season 5, will take the Spanish Trail Playhouse stage this weekend! 

In The Chipley Farmers Market is opening up again for its fall season on September 27th, featuring fresh Turnips, Mustard Greens and Squash. More items will be available as the season progresses.

Marianna - A group called the Riverway South Apalachicola Choctawhatchee Organization is trying to promote other natural resources, other than beaches. The R.W.S.A.C. wants to bring more revenue to counties including Calhoun, Franklin, and Gadsden by featuring places like Blue Springs Recreational Area, the Florida Caverns, and several state parks.
